About me
Hi, I’m Kate and I’m so glad you want to learn more about me and my ultrasound and photography businesses! My creative journey started in a dark room back in highschool. I loved taking photography classes while attending Purdue University and feel so incredibly blessed to have made a career out of something I love so very much! I have been with my wonderful husband, Derrick, for 16 amazing years and together we have four crazy, beautiful, awesome kids; Lennox (8), Anora (4) and Kohen (3), and Finneas (17 months). My family is my life and I feel incredibly blessed to do what I love so much!
I have a hybrid style of photographing my subjects and focus on both posed and lifestyle photography during each session. I love to document tickles and giggles just as much as the perfect posed portrait and pride myself in my ability to do both seamlessly. As a mama myself, I know firsthand how fleeting the time with our little ones is, and the stress of creating the perfect session to capture it. I pride myself in being patient and I will guide you through every moment of your session to make you feel beautiful and comfortable, while we document your most special memories. I am here to help make it as easy as possible. From booking and styling, to the day of your session, I will be here with you for each step of this journey.
For me, photography is an outlet and a lifestyle that I truly love! I’m honored to be able to document such important memories in my clients’ lives and I feel like my clients become lifelong friends!
